Care Instructions

Ceramics -

Bowls - Our Ceramic bowls are made with a coiling method, which means that the walls are slowly built with a spiral of clay and compressed into itself. This allow the creation of the organic curves and shapes, but also means that the piece will have concentric fault lines around the bowls. You should avoid lifting the bowl directly up if you have secured it down with something like Blu-tac and instead 'lever' the bowl to the side to break a seal, and then lift with even support.
Ceramics are fragile, please treat them as though they were made of glass.
Our bowls are not considered food safe and should never be put through a dishwasher. You can safely clean your bowl with a damp cloth.

Vessels - Some of our vessels are coiled, while most are slab-built, with the latter being stronger than the former. Even still great care should be taken when handling a vessel.
Ceramics are fragile, please treat them as though they were made of glass. If you have secured it down with something like Blu-tac and instead 'lever' the bowl to the side to break a seal, and then lift with even support.
Our vessels are not vases, water will seep through slowly and possibly damage surfaces.

Tea Bowls - Tea bowls are food-safe, they are however NOT dishwasher safe. Please hand clean your tea bowls.
