Whakatauki (maori proverb)

A waka moves through the sea of life, tūi flying above are ancestor spirits watching over those below. The waves, the hills, the wings - all decorated with kōwhaiwhai, all connected, each part holding together. When we care for each other, we all move forward. When everyone has a place and knows they matter, the waka travels further.
