This artwork carries the words of a traditional karakia, calling for peace, clarity, and beauty to surround life’s journey. The sea as greenstone speaks to stillness and strength, while the shimmer of summer light suggests warmth and joy on the path ahead. Koru arches offer protection, kōwhaiwhai patterns speak of connection, and the tui bring aroha as they fly.

This karakia is said to be by Rangawhenua Tawhaki
